Our Services

Whether it is a simple cleaning, or tooth saving root canal therapy, Dori Dental Arts can help. Modern dentistry is diverse and dynamic with multiple solutions for the multitude of scenarios. Everyone is unique with their own unique needs. As a result, treatment is custom tailored for each and every patient. We are not a dental factory!

Cleanings

Cleanings

A dental cleaning (or prophylaxis) is a necessary and very important part of oral health. Cleanings can range from simple, “above-the-gums” to very involved “deep cleanings”. The determining factor is you! A healthy mouth without gum recession, bleeding, bone loss or deep pockets will benefit from a simple prophy. On the contrary, a mouth which shows signs of periodontal or gum disease will require more attention which involves scaling and root planing therapy followed by more frequent periodontal maintenance cleanings.

Restorative

Restorative

This is what people generally think of when they think of dentistry. The term “restoration” refers to fillings, crowns and the like. Cavities are usually the reason that a restoration is required.

Esthetics

Esthetics

It is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. With a Masters degree in Fine Arts and an accomplished sculptor, Dr. Alon Dori is supremely qualified to create the most beautiful and natural looking smiles in Southern California.

Endodontics

Endodontics

Root canal therapy is often the most misunderstood dental treatment. Fear of pain is why people postpone this vital treatment, when in fact endodontic therapy relieves pain and makes it possible to save teeth.

Implants

Implants

Dental implants are more popular today than in years past. This is in part due to the improved technology in manufacturing and placement techniques. The primary reason to place an implant(s) is to replace missing or extracted teeth.

Children's Dentistry

Children's Dentistry

Dori Dental Arts is a family practice.  We have two children ourselves, and enjoy interacting and working with children. We believe kids should start seeing their dentist around the age of 2, and we encourage parents to bring their children to their own appointments. Our goal is to create a feeling of trust and encourage a lifelong awareness of the importance of oral health.  A child's first visit will start by getting him/her used to sitting in the dental chair and playing with the doctors and staff. They get to see how the equipment works like the suction ("Mr. Thirsty") and air/water syringe ("water shooter").  Radiographs (x-rays) are typically not taken at the first visit unless we see signs of decay.  Before the end of the visit, the child will have their teeth brushed with our "tickly" toothbrush and they will get to choose a toy from the treasure box.
